As Gen X kids, we didn’t need fancy ingredients, just a slice of toast, a little butter, and a sprinkle of cinnamon sugar. It was simple, comforting, and delicious.
This Quick and Easy Keto Cinnamon Toast brings back all those nostalgic flavors without the sugar and carbs. With a few keto-friendly ingredients, you can enjoy a warm, sweet treat that tastes like childhood while staying on track with your low-carb lifestyle.
Ingredients:
2 slices of keto bread (I use L’oven Fresh Keto Friendly Bread from Aldi)
1/4 cup of granular sweetener (I use Swerve Granular)
1 TBSP of cinnamon
Butter for toast
Directions:
Toast 2 slices of keto bread (I use a toaster but you can use the broiler in your oven, air fryer, skillet, or toaster oven if you prefer)
Mix granular sweetener and cinnamon while bread is toasting
Butter toast
Sprinkle toast with cinnamon and sweetener mixture (there should be some left for next time so seal in a bowl with lid)
